Río Colorado tells, through images, what a place can offer simply by existing.

More than recording an architecture, a landscape or a way of living, the images seek to reveal what happens between the space and those who travel through it: the light that enters and transforms the place which, being located in a narrow valley, is only illuminated for a few hours in winter, bathing this landscape of the Chilean countryside in nostalgia.

The narrative is built from images that seek to slow down time and pause for contemplation, focusing on the details of everyday life.

The aesthetics of color, contrast, and chiaroscuro contribute to supporting this narrative, highlighting what many

sometimes it goes unnoticed

Río Colorado is located in a rural area of the San Esteban commune in the Aconcagua Valley. Situated at kilometer 18 of the international road to Argentina, the documented manor house is a site of historical value with colonial origins that functioned as a customs house during the 18th century.

This project began in 2012 and is still in progress.
